Worker Bees
The Worker Bee has been the symbol of Manchester for many years, originating from the time of the Industrial Revolution when Manchester became the world's first Industrial City. The Worker Bee symbol was adopted by the workers to represent the city's resilience and work ethic forged during these years when the textile mills and factories were likened to 'hives'.
The Worker Bee emblem can be found all across the city, from the Councils's Coat of Arms to the stunning mosaic floor in the Town Hall. They even adorn lampposts, bollards, planters and litter bins throughout the city.
We designed this small collection featuring our own little Worker Bee to celebrate the city we live in and it continues to be one of our favourite and most popular ranges!

We are very proud to be supporting the work of the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity this Christmas!
