Well hello there, it's been a while and blimey things have changed a little in the Honey Bee house recenltly!
If you've been following me on social media (if not, why not?!) or have seen me at one of my regular markets then you'll know that this year we were expanding our little family with the arrival of twins this summer.
Well, they finally made their appearance on 11th August and have are now almost six weeks old! I'm not sure where those six weeks have gone, somewhere in a blur of sleep deprivation, milk, nappies, a roller-coaster of hormones and overwhelming love for these two little bees.
So let me introduce you to our two new Baby Bees; Oscar Jude (R) and Theo Sidney (L)
Well, it’s goes without saying that we’re all a little bit smitten and I'm also a little bit relieved not to be pregnant anymore!! Carrying two babies in the heatwave that we had this summer was enough to break the very strongest of women.
Thankfully though everything went smoothly and our boys arrived safe and sound on the morning of the 11th August after a relatively short labour, with just six minutes between them - they obviously didn't want to be apart for too long!
Big Brother has taken to his new role like a duck to water and is already very protective of his little brothers, always reassuring them when they’re crying and kissing them when they’re sleeping. He may change his mind though when they’re ganging up on him and stealing all his toys!!!
Obviously now we have our hands full of new babies I’m sadly not able to spend as much time with my other baby (my workbench!) but I am hoping to be back taking a few orders before Christmas.
There are some items in my shop that are in stock, ready made and ready to post but anything that is made to order, e.g rings and personalised items are marked as out of stock until I am able to get some routine back from these little time thieves!.
