Well, 2020 is proving to be a bit of a shit-storm isn't it?!
I don't want to talk too much about COVID-19 and the current global pandemic crisis that, unless you've been living in a bubble for the last few months, you will be completely up to speed with and do not need me to tell you all about. But I also didn't want it to be a big elephant in the room and pretend that it isn't happening and isn't having a detrimental effect on businesses big and small.
The last few weeks for my business alone has been tough, I've seen all of my stockists forced to close and my online sales plummet to an all time low. I have been so extremely grateful for every single one of your orders and given that everyone is concerned about how they are spending their money right now I want you to know just how much it means that you have chosen to spend it with me.
Anyway, I guess I wanted to just let you know that I am still here, still working away (in between homeschooling H and the everyday twin wrangling) and still taking orders through the website. I don't want you to feel pressured into spending your precious money on jewellery at a time like this but I will be here if you need gifts for loved ones or even just a little pick me up for yourself.
I am still able to do a weekly post office run at the same time as getting our groceries. All my postage is purchased online so there will be minimal contact when I drop it off to keep me and my lovely local post office staff safe.
Due to the closure of all the Assay offices I am unable to have pieces hallmarked so there are a few limitations on products available, however most of my designs are under the minimum weight for required hallmarking so there is still plenty to choose from.
Thanks again for all your support and I do hope that you are all safe and well and spending some quality time with your families.
